There is a self underneath the self you learned to be.

There are moments in life when everything looks fine on the outside —but inside, something feels quietly wrong. Like you've been living just slightly beside yourself. Like the life you're living is good - but it isn't quite yours.

This retreat is for the woman who knows something needs to shift — even if she can't name it yet.

Over four days in Tavira, we slow down enough to hear what's been waiting beneath the surface. Through embodied practice, creativity, and deep immersion in nature, you return to your own inner rhythm — the one that gets drowned out by the pace of ordinary life. This is not about learning something new. It is about remembering something true.

A small group. A beautiful place. A rare kind of time — for renewal, clarity, and the quiet work of coming home to yourself.

A Threshold, Not a Programme

Across nearly every ancient culture, transformation happened in three movements: leaving the old shape of the self, crossing a threshold where the new is not yet formed, and returning — carrying something the ordinary world cannot give.

This is the rhythm of the four days. You arrive as you are. You cross into something quieter. You return with what you found there.

No performance. No fixing. No becoming someone new.

Just the older work — of remembering.

What We’ll Explore

There are things you already know about yourself that you cannot access from inside your ordinary life. This retreat creates the conditions for those things to surface — through your body, through the natural world, through the quiet intelligence of creativity.

Three thresholds. One returning. The spiral, the horizon, the crescent moon — older symbols for the work of finding yourself again.

The Spiral — Coming back into your body. Return as growth, not repetition.

Most of us have learned to live slightly above ourselves — in the head, in the list, in what's next. Embodied practice is not yoga, not exercise, not a technique to master. It is the experience of inhabiting yourself again.

Of feeling the difference between tension held so long it became normal — and genuine aliveness. Through breath, movement, and guided awareness, we gently return to what the body has been quietly holding. To finally hear it.

Your body has been trying to tell you something. This is where you learn to listen.

The Horizon — Letting the landscape do its work. The meeting place of inner and outer.

Tavira is not just the setting for this retreat. It is part of the method. There is something specific that happens when you carry inner work outside — when you take a question into the morning air, walk it along the water's edge, and let the landscape answer in its own language.

The Algarve light. The salt in the air. The quality of ancient earth under bare feet. It loosens something that nothing indoors quite can.

We move through nature with intention — not as tourists, not as backdrop, but as practice. The outer world becomes a mirror for the inner one. What you find out there was always in you. Nature just makes it visible.

The landscape knows things about you that you have not yet found words for.

The Crescent — Accessing what words cannot reach. Intuition before language.

We use drawing, visual inquiry, and creative practice here not as art — but as intelligence.

When your hands are moving and your analytical mind steps back, something underneath surfaces. Images, feelings, knowing — things that had no way in through the front door find another route. This is the oldest method of accessing the self: making something and watching what arrives through the making.

No artistic experience is needed. No artistic outcome is expected. What we are after is whatever rises up through the page when you stop

Intuition speaks in images before it speaks in words. Creativity is just learning its language.

Who This Is For

This retreat was designed for a specific woman. She doesn't need to be broken to be here. She just needs to be ready.

It may resonate if you:

• Feel like you've lost the thread of who you are beneath all your roles and
responsibilities

• Are at a turning point — and sense that something needs to shift, even if
you can't name it yet

• Long to reconnect with your creativity, your intuition, and a part of yourself
you've set aside for too long

• Want space to think clearly, breathe fully, and play without agenda

• Feel a pull toward something deeper — more meaning, more aliveness,
more of yourself

• Carry beliefs that keep you playing small, and are ready — finally — to
examine them

• Love nature, warm light, good food, and genuine human connection

You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to feel the yes.

What you may leave with:

• A clearer sense of who you are and what you actually want

• A renewed feeling of inner coherence

• The experience of being truly seen — by yourself and by others

• Practical reflective tools you'll carry into ordinary life

• A small dragonfly creation — a quiet reminder of what surfaced here

Grounding experiences that help you reconnect with your intuition, your creativity, and what it means to feel authentically yourself.

Flights and transport: Not included, but I'll share everything you need to get here easily once you book — nearest airports, transport options, and tips for the journey.

Meals: Meals are not included in the programme — but eating together is absolutely part of what we do. I'll take you to my favourite local cafés and restaurants, the ones I love and keep going back to. Tavira's food scene is genuinely wonderful, and discovering it together is one of the quiet joys of the retreat. The apartment also has a fridge for storing anything you need throughout the stay.

Sample Day.
What a day might look like:

Day 1 - 24/05 - Arrival - You make your way to Tavira, and we begin. I will share all instructions for a smooth arrival once you register. The day is about settling in, introductions that quickly stop feeling like introductions, and exploring the town. The afternoon is easy — a meal together, and the quiet ritual of naming what we're each bringing and what we'd like to leave behind.

Day 2 - 25/05 - Morning opens with a meditation to set the day. Then we walk. Hidden spots in the Algarve that most people never find, where the landscape does something to you that conversation can't. Lunch somewhere nearby. Then back for an afternoon of creative exploration — drawing, making, noticing. No outcome required. Just curiosity and whatever surfaces when your hands are busy and your mind goes quiet.

Evening brings an honest group conversation about the beliefs we carry — the ones we've outgrown but haven't yet put down. Some things shift in that room. Then a kindness ritual at sunset. I'll leave that one undescribed — it's better experienced. Dinner follows in one of my favourite spots in Tavira.

Day 3 — 26/05 - A threshold day. I'll leave the rest undescribed. The structure of this day is part of the gift.

Day 4 — 27/05 - Closing the Circle: We will finish around lunchtime - We close the way we opened — with intention. A short meditation, if we have time, to mark what happened here, and then everyone goes on their way. What you take with you is yours to discover.

Each day has its own rhythm. Nothing is rigid. Everything is intentional.

Questions you might
be sitting with (faq)

Do I need to be "spiritual" or have done this kind of work before?

No. This retreat is for women who want to come back to themselves — whatever language you use for that. You don't need to have meditated for years, read certain books, or call yourself anything in particular. You just need to be curious about what's underneath your daily life right now.

I'm introverted, or worried about being in a group — will this be too much?

The group is small (no more than five women) and there is real time built in for solitude. You won't be in constant conversation. Some of the deepest moments happen in quiet — walking, making, sitting. If you're someone who needs to recharge alone, you'll be looked after.

I've never drawn or done creative work — does that matter?

Not at all. We use creative practice as a way in, not a skill to learn. Nothing is being taught, nothing is being judged. The point isn't what you make — it's what surfaces while you're making. If you can hold a pencil, you have everything you need.

The accommodation is a shared room — how does that work?

You'll share a comfortable two-bed room in my apartment with one other woman. It's a warm, intimate space close to the centre of Tavira — more like staying with a friend than checking into a hotel. If sharing feels like a no for you, write to me and we'll look at nearby alternatives together.

What about food and dietary needs?

Meals aren't included in the programme, but we eat together — I'll take you to my favourite cafés and restaurants in Tavira. The food here is genuinely beautiful, and most places easily accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other needs. Let me know yours when you register and I'll plan around them.

What if I need to cancel?

Because this is a small, carefully held group experience with limited spaces, refunds are not available once payment is confirmed.

If you are unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance at contact@renatapieroni.com so we are aware.

Still have a question?

Write to me at contact@renatapieroni.com — I'd rather hear from you than have you wonder.

Meet Renata

You haven't been doing it wrong.
You just never learned to do it yours.

For years I did everything I was supposed to do. Not because I wanted it — but because I didn't know I had a choice. I never learned to ask what I actually wanted. I never learned to question the patterns running my life quietly in the background. So I kept going, fitting in, surviving — and calling it living.Until I stopped. And started listening to the part of me that had been waiting all along.

This retreat is for the woman who feels that quiet ache — the one that shows up when everything looks fine on the outside but something inside knows it isn't. The one who has been living beside her own life, not inside it.Here, we slow down. We look at the patterns. We question the beliefs that were handed to us before we were old enough to choose. And we begin — gently, honestly — to come back to ourselves.

Not a new version of you. The real one.

I'm a designer, certified NLP master practitioner and trainer, with studies in mind-body connection, energy work, human design, expressive arts, neuroscience, and facilitation. But what matters most to me is not the credentials — it's the quality of the space I can hold for you. I want to create the conditions where something true can surface — and where you leave feeling more like yourself than you have before the retreat.

We had our first Wild Wise retreat in May. Below are words from women I've worked with one-to-one — to give you a sense of what the work feels like from inside.

Mapy

Astrologist

This session helped me land deeper into my own truth and express it in a way that feels natural and honest. I walked away with a clearer sense of my authentic voice, practical tools to communicate from presence, and the confidence to share my work in a way that truly reflects who I am. It was simple, powerful, and incredibly aligning.

Mariana

Shiatsu Professional

Our session was so powerful — thank you from the bottom of my heart. I came in with the feeling that I would do anything “to get rid of this,” but the deepest insight I received was that there is nothing to get rid of. Instead, what I truly need is to embrace and integrate these parts of me.

With deep gratitude and love,

Clara

Energy Healer

You came forth as much more relaxed this time Renata. You sounded totally with what you were

delivering. Therefore more approachable. Thank you so much for everything you shared with us.

It was an invaluable experience!

This retreat is the first room of something I've been quietly building for a long time — a place where sensitive, thoughtful women can come back into contact with what is actually theirs. If something on this page met you, I'd love to meet you in Tavira.
